How do I sign in?

To create a new account, you must first complete a transaction. After you complete your first transaction, follow the instructions in your invitation email to activate your account. Once you create an account, select the “Login” option in the upper right corner of your screen to enter your e-mail address and password. Remember that some content must be purchased before it can be viewed.

What if I forget my username or password?

Your username is the email address you used when you created your account. To reset your password, please click here, enter your email address, and click "Send Instructions". You will receive an email with a link that allows you to reset your password.

How do I change my e-mail address or password?

After logging into your account, click the “Profile” link in the top right corner to update your e-mail address or password.

I entered a wrong/incorrect e-mail address when registering.

Login to your account using the incorrect e-mail address and update your e-mail address on your “Profile” page.

I did not receive a confirmation e-mail after I registered.

Please check the spam folder of your e-mail inbox. If you are unable to locate your confirmation email, but you can login to the site with your e-mail address, then you have successfully registered. You may need to reset your password to access your account. If you are unable to login, please contact patronsupport@bsomusic.org to verify the status of your account.

What purchase options are available?

Users may purchase access to individual performances at $25 per performance or can gain access to all content on BSO OffStage by signing up for a five concert package for $105.

How do I purchase access to the content?

To purchase access to individual episodes:

  • Visit this page

  • Scroll and find the video you'd like to purchase access to.

  • Follow the prompts to purchase access.

  • The video will show up in your library on this page.

What payment methods do you accept?

Content and subscriptions can be purchased using any major credit card, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

How do I update my payment information?

To update your payment information for your Monthly All-Access plan, please call Patron Support at 877.276.1444.

My credit card payment was not accepted, what do I do?

Verify that you have entered the card number correctly and filled in all required fields, which includes name, card number, expiration date, CVV code, and postal code. The postal code must match the billing address for your credit card. If the card information is correct and complete, then your transaction was likely denied by your bank. We would suggest contacting your bank or using a different credit card.

Where can I view my purchase history, plan status and/or purchase receipts?

You can view your available content and plans by logging into your BSOmusic.org account here. For specific information about your payments, please contact patronsupport@bsomusic.org.

Can I purchase access to a concert as a gift for someone else?

To gift a performance to someone else, we suggest purchasing a BSO Gift Certificate. Gift certificates are valid for four years and can be used to purchase any BSO performance, including tickets for in-person performances, concert livestreams and recordings, and episodes of BSO Sessions. You will receive gift certificate number that can be redeemed on BSOmusic.org for BSO OffStage access.

Content Information and Help

How do I access my purchased content?

After you login to the site, find the episode or performance you purchased access to on the home page. Click on it to view the episode or performance landing page. Then select the play button. All videos you have purchased access to will also show up in the "My Library" row on the catalog page.

Can I watch a piece of content more than once?

Yes, you can watch a piece of content as many times as you like, for as long as it is on the site.

How long will pieces of content be available on the site?

Livestreamed and on demand performances will remain on the site for one year from their premiere date. 

Can I watch concerts on multiple devices?

At this time, there is no limit on the number devices that can be used to view content.

How can I add an episode to my favorites list?

Go to the video page and click the “Add to Favorites” button. To remove the episode from your favorites list, simply click the button again.

I never received an e-mail notifying that my video was available.

Check your spam folder. Content can be viewed any time after it has been released while it remains on the site. Please login to your account and visit the episode landing page to watch your video.

Can I download performances?

No, episodes cannot be downloaded, they must be streamed through the BSO OffStage website or watched through the available native applications.

Miscellaneous

Are concerts available on DVD/Blu-Ray?

At this time concerts are only available at offstage.bsomusic.org and through the BSO OffStage applications.

What if I lose power or internet while I am watching?

Come back to BSO OffStage when your power or internet is restored. The performance should resume where you left off. Once a performance has been posted it can be viewed at any time until it is removed from the site.

At what quality is the audio for BSO Sessions episodes recorded?

We record in 320kb/s at a 48hz sample rate which is considered “transparent “ audio for 5.1 surround sound. Audio in our final BSO Sessions episodes are encoded in AAC at 48k 24bit 320kbs.

How do I learn more about the music I am listening to?

The performances include links to Overture, the program notes of the BSO. Overture includes additional details about the music, composer, and instrumentation.

Can I invite my friends to view a concert with me?

To share a performance with friends, click the share button from the performance page, and then select one of the buttons to share the concert page using Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or LinkedIn. Your friends can purchase access to that concert and you can organize a time to watch it together.
